Gutshof Puschwitz in Puschwitz

Unfortunately, the pension is getting on in years and has a very clear maintenance backlog on the outside and partly also in the interior. The large holiday apartment also exudes a rather late socialist charm. The VEB Möbelkombinat sends its regards! But it is very spacious. The dishes were ok. However, we expected significantly more from the reviews here.

Great food and atmosphere. Always worth a visit

We were allowed to linger here for the Sunday buffet. It tasted great to us. Plenty of choice of numerous delicacies. The service is on the ball, courteous and polite. A real insider tip. Any time!

For some time now I've been visiting the inn in Puschwitz because of the wonderful Sunday brunch. The food is great and can only be recommended. I will continue to enjoy one or the other Sunday brunch there. Have a look.

We drove there specially from Bautzen. On the website it was not clear that it was closed. From the outside, the inn didn't look very well-kept.

Today we went for brunch at Gutshof Puschwitz again. The food was so delicious again. 😋 With the variety of dishes, it was really difficult for me not to be able to taste all of them. Far too much of all. The wonderful garden should also be mentioned, a lot Plenty of green and shade, just cozy 😎. Will definitely come again 🍺

The ambience is very nice, unfortunately you can't expect the food! We went there for brunch today, and were very disappointed with the quality of the dishes!

Really good food, the rooms a bit old-fashioned but still good

I would like to emphasize in advance that the manor barely missed the 5th star. More on the criticism at the end of my review. The food in the manor was very good. It was delicious. There is someone in the kitchen who is a heart and soul cook. As a starter I had goose spice meat and as a main course a duck breast with red cabbage and potato dumplings (see picture). The seasoned meat was delicious, also because it was a very nice and tasty variant. The duck was crispy fried and tasted delicious. Likewise the red cabbage and the potato dumplings. We ordered a banana mustard sorbet for dessert. A very brave combination and certainly not for everyone. My companion was thrilled, I found the combination a little too brave. But still respect! You have to come up with this idea first. Visually, it was put on the plate very well. The best thing to do with this dessert is to make your own judgment. The premises of the manor are large, spacious, attractively furnished and in the expected, more rustic style of a manor. The ambience was also very nice thanks to a fireplace. This was not only available, but there was also a fire, which made the pleasant atmosphere even more cozy. The staff were very friendly and nice. Unfortunately, they seemed a bit nervous that evening. The tables were neatly decorated and you sat very comfortably on the chairs. All in all, it was a nice and successful evening in the cozy and atmospheric atmosphere of the manor. If I am in the area again, I would like to visit the inn again! Also and despite the following anecdote, which I did not like and which I found a little cheeky and rude (my personal impression). When I wanted to pay for my food and drinks and asked if I could pay with the EC card, it was said that this was not a problem. When the waitress saw my total amount, she told me that other customers usually pay significantly higher amounts than mine with my card and that her boss would not like it if she did this by debit card and I would have to pay cash , Basically, this is of course the operator's good right to determine whether and if so, at what amount customers can pay their bills using an EC card. I found the note cheeky and inappropriate: "Usually only significantly higher amounts are paid via EC". You feel a bit undesirable in the short term. I have not seen / noticed that card payments are only possible from a certain amount. I book this under miscommunication, whereby I would recommend the waitress to express herself more skilfully in a similar case.

We celebrated our wedding at Gutshof Puschwitz at the weekend and we are just thrilled with the estate and the FABULOUS LOVELY TEAM. They are very attentive, friendly and accommodating. Even on our buffet wishes you are excellent. The cook understands his craft. The romantic garden invites you to dream and linger. If someone does not want to go home after the party, the manor also offers rooms and a holiday apartment. WE'LL LIKE COMING AGAIN

Very nice atmosphere The bad reviews of frustrated u. Unhappy people, certainly can not handle the restaurant with its rural charm. (fully booked every weekend) Hospitality is lived here. Our favorite restaurant, we always like to come.

Always nice in Puschwitz, Sunday brunch or theme weekends (Italian weeks / roast goose with music) always very delicious, comfortable guest garden, lovingly designed farm shop, staff always very friendly, so we really like to come here! The pension is very neat and the prices are perfectly fine. As far as we know, there is always a breakfast at night. But well, there are always people who have CHECKERS ...

The menu is their best. Reiner, the Cheff, is a master and you will always find a variety of dishes and combinations. No matter if it is the cold or warm season; it´s is always cozy and elegant. Pay attention on the homepage and you will see that there are special events for holidays and the coming of new seasons. Some nights they offer live piano-bar with jazz and bossa-nova. I Highly recommend!
